THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE NOTES

From the
creative desk.

Boring Media is written by the performance team at Boring Commerce. We write for Indian D2C founders, marketers and creative teams turning product knowledge into ads.

What we publish

Practical direction for UGC, product demonstrations, static ads and copy. Each note should help you write a brief, make a shot list or decide what to test. We explain the creative decision in words and frames so a designer or editor can act on it.

Where the numbers come from

Articles link to public platform documentation and advertising guidance, with the research date recorded in a source receipt. Worked examples label their assumptions at the start. Offer arithmetic shows the calculation; shot timings describe the edit.

Practitioner notes explain how to brief, make and test an asset. Performance figures need a named public source or a documented account sample.

Client privacy and account data

Account data is anonymised. Its receipt states the reporting window, sample size and spend or orders covered. Averages and ranges require at least three brands. Smaller samples are labelled examples. We remove identifying details before publication.

Corrections and updates

Platform features change. We update affected instructions, record a revised date and correct the source receipt. If you spot an error, use the creative review booking form to share the article URL and the passage that needs checking.
